A plant to behold…

Yerba maté is a species of holly tree native to the subtropical forests of Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil and Uruguay. For over 500 years, South American communities — starting with the Guaraní people — have brewed its leaves as a source of feel good energy.

The FEEL GOOD TRIFECTA

Three compounds. One leaf. All in one can of DOS AMIGOS

the buzz

Caffeine

Provides alertness and focus. The caffeine in yerba maté occurs naturally in the leaf — meaning Dos Amigos caffeine is not synthetic and not added. Maté drinkers often report a slower, steadier lift compared to coffee.

the smooth

Theobromine

A gentler stimulant. Often associated with calm focus — the reason maté drinkers describe the feeling as alert but relaxed.

the nutrients

Polyphenols

Naturally occurring plant compounds with antioxidant properties. Yerba maté contains a higher concentration of polyphenols than green tea.
